Little Hands of Love Quilt

For a recent birthday, my grandchildren each painted a corner of a canvas, which I love! While the paints and paper were out, I had each one paint their hands and leave their hand painted imprint on paper. Later, I took a photo of each hand, labeled each with their name and age, turned them into a jpg and sent it to Spoonflower Inc. to be printed on fabric. I included a photo of a piece of artwork one of my grandson’s created of the word LOVE, with the “O” being his handprint.

Once I received the printed fabric, I created one large nine-patch quilt. I hand-quilted around each hand and the letters in LOVE. Then I made four blocks of very colorful chenille.
